Donna, this was a real pleasure to write up. Without your help we would still be wondering what to do...
We first met Donna at the Burlington Home Show in September 2009. She took the time to explain to us what she does, and how she works with her clients. We filed that information away as at that time we were still collecting information about how and what to do to our home.
We connected with Donna again in March of 2011, to determine if she could help us achieve what we wanted to accomplish with our house.
Donna's input was key to the success of tha project. She took the time to know us and then got to know our wishes, how we lived and what we envisioned our house would look like when we were finished. Donna took all those factors into consideration and developed an initial plan for us of some possibilities for our house. She listened to our questions and concerns and amended the draft plan to come up with one that took into account all of our eeds and more. Donna also was able to connect us with a contractor whom she trusted to get the project done to her satisfaction and ours. She kept in touch with us throughout the project, visiting the site often, helping us with major decisions and some smaller but important ones as well. She was even available and in touch over holiday weekends and her own vacation.
When things got hectic and we got frustrated, Donna was there for us to make things right and ease our minds. This in turn gave us the confidence that we had selected the best design professional for the job. The results prove it!
Donna turned our wants and wishes into a reality, that far exceeded what we thought could be done. The layout and design is amazing, and has turned our house into our home. A home we can live in for many years to come.
Donna, you have been great to work with, you saw the possibilities, you explained them to us and you really have turned our house into our home.

A job well done by Donna O'Brien...
She is responsible for our newly up-dated home. With her expertise and a great deal of patience she has transformed our home, making it more modern. Visitors are amazed at the difference.
Donna sat with us and listened to our needs. She created a plan for our new kitchen. our old and outdated kitchen was gutted. She recommended a new product called Dura Ceramic. It is everything we wanted - the looks of ceramic, but warm and not so hard on our feet. I accidently dropped a glass on the new floor and it didn't shatter. From the style of the cupboards, lighting, countertop, faucet, and sink, Donna was with us all the way. She advised and showed us the new products that were available. When looking at a gutted room, its hard to visualize the end result. I now have a wonderful kitchen. It even has an island!
Next, plans were drawn up for our family room, living/dining room and stairway. Donna was always at hand, helping with choices of hardwood, doors, colours, window dressings, and area rugs. She made sure that everything cam together.
Her choice of products and the trades people she hired were excellent!
I wouldn't like to admit how long my husband and I sat doing nothing because we didn't know where to start with an open concept house. but thanks to you Donna, we have a beautiful home!

In the past 8 years of owning our first home, we've had several dealings with designers and contractors. In that time, we have had many frustrating and unproductive experiences. Approximately 2 years ago, we decided to finish our basement and brought Donna in as a consultant to help with the design and decor. With Donnas' enthusiasm and design abilities a project that we thought would be daunting was instead an enjoyable experience.
Donna listens to what your needs and concerns are. She has the ability to ease our mind when you are frustrated. She will also work within your budget constraints. We have now gone from large to small projects with Donna and no matter what the size she is committed to giving you the best quality of service possible.
